Artist’s Bio

Jamison Rieger was born in North Dakota. Service in the military brought him to the west coast where he married and has two children. Jamison graduated from San Diego State University with honors; he studied painting under Gail Roberts, Sculpture under John Rogers, and Crafts under Joan Austin.

Most of Jamison’s time is divided between teaching art and two studios; one in California and another in North Dakota. The summer months are spent at the North Dakota studio while those during the school year are spent in the California Studio.
